These photographs were taken during an expedition in 1891.

















The photographs were taken by Watson in 1891 and in 1953 the originals were donated by my grandmother to the Zimbabwe Archives in Harare, where they are now housed. Five copies of the photographs were made, of which I possess one. (For more details on the five copies, see the Documents page.)
